It's 9:23 in the AM, and yes, I'm still awake. I woke up around 2 pm, I think. We went to Joe's Deli. Alex keeps obsessing over it, and he hyped it up so much that I wanted to try it, and it was closed on previous attempts. Honestly, not that good...much rather go to McAlister's (Yay for Sweet Tea and Arnold Palmers). So that was disappointing, but the rest of the day brought me back to elementary school.
Yes, thats right, its that time of the year...summer. And what do we do during summer? WATER FIGHT!!! Alex, Darren (who I have been referring to as God all day Saturday because, well, he is), Peter and I went to Wal Mart. We bought water balloons, water guns, and water bombs. It took like an hour to fill up the balloons, but it was worth it. There was much wetness and coolness. After, we showered, and I rushed to get ready for a bbq at Amy's boyfriend's house, which was hosted by Amy (very well if I do say so myself, and I do). Yay for Amy, Ian, Josh Ackerman, Tisha, Liz, Ribs, and Shaq going like THIS: Sticking arm up and just palming the ball to block the Piston shot. Yea, he's a pimp and my idol of the night...until shortly there after.
After bbq, which once again rocked my socks off, I went back to the apartment and left to go see Longest Yard with Darren, Alex, and Peter. Peter, being somewhat mistaken, accidentally read the wrong movie time, and the theater was closed when we got there. Tear. Instead, we went to Wal Mart and Albertsons. We bought Trivial Pursuit DVD Pop Culture Edition (well, Darren bought it) and Jello to make yummy Jello shots. Darren made them, and they were pretty darn good (again, this is why he rocks and is my idol for the night, replacing Shaq as master pimp...I guess the nickname PimpMasterD is true after all).
We then played Trivial Pursuit. I won because I'm just that awesome. I even beat Darren, and that's saying something because Trivial Pursuit is his game (in case you couldn't tell, besides being a Pimp, a God, and rocking my world "MR 1580...MR 1580...MR 1580!!!!", he is also a huge nerd in his spare time). That ended around 5:30 in the AM.
After that, I sat on the couch and talked to Peter for a while about things, stuff, life, etc, etc. Then I went into Alex's room and came out and lo and behold...DARREN WAS STILL AWAKE. I was shocked. He surprised me once again and showed his awesomeness by staying awake. Everyone else thought he was weak and in bed, but no, he was just that cool. He and Alex went to Publix to buy more stuff for the bbq while I stayed on the couch with Peter. For those of you who don't know, we are having a small bbq at the apartment this afternoon. They got back around 8 am. I went into Alex's room and hung out there with Darren for about an hour until he kicked us out (he is the weakling tonight). Then I came back into my room and started updating my journal.
For those of you who haven't already realized, you don't know me at all. I don't type like this. I don't talk like this. I don't update like this. And I don't continually praise Darren like this (at least not in public). So basically, I'M NOT STEPHANIE!!! You guessed it (at least, I hope you guessed it, it'd be bad if you didn't), tonight's guest writer is none other than...
Darren!! But just for the record, everything written in the journal DID occur exactly as transcribed. This includes Alex's weakness, Darren's Pimpness, and Shaq's cool defense.

so that's the title of what i'm working on for myself. after reading anais nin for the third week straight - 2 diaries, a prose-poem, and 2 short stories - i realized i keep too much for myself. although, no one may ever read what i write until i'm like 80 should i survive to that age, then it'll be an interesting read i think. yeah.
life sucks. i am wearing my "i wish love didn't stink" shirt today. and it's true. all of it. why, though? ah! i need to get away from gainesville. must break the cycle. have to get away from the routine.
will be working on my paper this weekend for geo2200 lab. hopefully that gets done.
must find job or something to occupy spare time.
addicted to flavor ice. i dream about it.
want to find love, or something like it.
must purge my thoughts from weakness and regret.

i could update. i could not. i could ramble. i'm off to a good start. so i might just reflect for a bit. this year has been interesting. i've done a 180 then another 180 to finally get me back to a place where i feel comfortable. i've made some great friends. and soon i'll be losing some, at least in the geographical proximity sense. i've given up on the past. i've vested a lot in the future. and the future freaks me out. people that were my friends became distant memories to then become my friends again. i've learned a lot about others and of my self. i've learned i need to stand up for my self. i've learned you can't expect that if you treat someone how you want to be treated that they will treat you the same way. i've learned to be happy on my own. i've learned that sometimes loving someone means giving up on them. i know now that all i have been and all i will be is not as important as who i am now.
